भवश्नानेन विप्रेण संहिताभिरभिष्टत: । स्वर्गद्वारे कृतोद्योगो येनासौ त्रिदिवं गत:
bhavaśnānena vipreṇa saṃhitābhir abhiṣṭutaḥ | svargadvāre kṛtodyogo yenāsau tridivaṃ gataḥ ||
ਸੂਰਜ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਉਸ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੇ ਭਵ-ਸਨਾਨ (ਸ਼ੈਵ ਰੀਤ) ਕਰਕੇ ਸੰਹਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਦੀ ਸ্তুਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਤਪ ਤੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਵਰਗ-ਦੁਆਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੀ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਦਾ ਉੱਦਮ ਕੀਤਾ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਦਿਵ—ਸਵਰਗਲੋਕ—ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ।
