यत्र देवो महाबाहु: शाश्वतः पुरुषोत्तम: । अनादिनिधनो विप्र किमाश्नर्यमत: परम्
yatra devo mahābāhuḥ śāśvataḥ puruṣottamaḥ | anādinidhano vipra kim āścaryam ataḥ param ||
ਨਾਗ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ! ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਚੰਭਾ ਕੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੇ ਅਸਾਧਾਰਣ ਤੇਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਾਬਾਹੁ, ਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਵਤ, ਅਨਾਦਿ-ਅੰਤ ਰਹਿਤ ਪੁਰੁਸ਼ੋਤਮ ਆਪ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ? ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਨਾਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਬੀਜ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਚਰ-ਅਚਰ ਸਮੇਤ ਧਾਰਿਤ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਸੂਰਜ-ਮੰਡਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਮਾਨ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਚੰਭਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੀ?
