Shloka 12
वयं हि भवता सर्वे गुणक्रीता विशेषत: । यस्त्वमात्महितं त्यक्त्वा मामेवेहानुरुध्यसे
vayaṃ hi bhavatā sarve guṇakrītā viśeṣataḥ | yas tvam ātmahitaṃ tyaktvā mām evehānurudhyase ||
ਨਾਗ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ, ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ, ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਵਹਿਤ ਵੀ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਕੇਵਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਦੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ।
