ईश्वरो हि जगत्स्रष्टा प्रभुनोातियणो विराट्
īśvaro hi jagatsraṣṭā prabhur nārāyaṇo virāṭ
ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਿਕਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਧੀਨਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ-ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਟਿਕੀ ਹੈ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਧਰਮ-ਜੀਵਨ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਿਕਰਤਾ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ-ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨਾਲ ਅਨੁਰੂਪ ਹੈ।
