तस्मै शय्यासन दिव्यं देवह रत्नभूषितम्‌

Transliteration

tasmai śayyāsanaṁ divyaṁ devaharatnabhūṣitam

Translation

ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—“ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵ-ਰਤਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਇਕ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਸ਼ਯ੍ਯਾ-ਆਸਨ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ”—ਇਹ ਯੋਗ ਪਾਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਯਥੋਚਿਤ ਆਤਿਥ੍ਯ ਦੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
