शुकस्य योगसिद्धिः (Śuka’s Yogic Attainment and Ascent)

पथि सज्ज्तमेवेदं दारैरन्यैश्व बन्धुभि: । नायमत्यन्तसंवासो लब्धपूर्वो हि केनचित्‌

Transliteration

pathi sajjatam evedaṃ dāraiḥ anyaiś ca bandhubhiḥ | nāyam atyantasaṃvāso labdhapūrvo hi kenacit ||

Translation

ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਵੇਖੋ, ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਲਝ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰਨ, ਅਟੁੱਟ ਸਾਥ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇਆ—ਐਸਾ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਇਕੱਠ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ।
