Yoga Definition and Sāṃkhya Enumeration
रड्रावतरणं चैव तथा रूपोपजीवनम् । मद्यमांसोपजीव्यं च विक्रयं लोहचर्मणो:
rudrāvataraṇaṃ caiva tathā rūpopajīvanam | madyamāṃsopajīvyaṃ ca vikrayaṃ lohacarmaṇoḥ ||
ਪਰਾਸ਼ਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਅਵਤਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਕਰਮ, ਰੂਪ-ਭੇਸ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਵਿਕਾ, ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਸ ਵੇਚ ਕੇ ਕਮਾਈ, ਅਤੇ ਲੋਹੇ ਤੇ ਚਮੜੇ ਦਾ ਵਪਾਰ—ਇਹ ਇੱਥੇ ਨਿੰਦਣਯੋਗ ਵ੍ਰਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਕਹੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
