शुक्ल: शुक्लाभिजातीय: साध्यो नावर्ततेडनघ । तिर्यग्गतेश्व निर्मुक्तो निरयाच्च पितामह
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |
śuklaḥ śuklābhijātīyaḥ sādhyo nāvartate 'nagha |
tiryaggateṣv anirmukto nirayāc ca pitāmaha ||
ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਪਾਪ ਪਿਤਾਮਹ! ਉਹ ‘ਸ਼ੁਕਲ’ ਸੀ—ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕੁਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ। ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਧ੍ਯ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਹੀ ਸੀ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ। ਉਹ ਪਸ਼ੂ-ਪੰਛੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਯੋਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਰਕ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਪਿਤਾਮਹ।
