मोक्षोपाय-निर्णयः
Determination of the Means to Liberation
राजानो लोकयात्रार्थ तप्यन्ते परमं तप: । तेडपत्रपन्ति तादृग्भ्यस्तथावृत्ता भवन्ति च
rājāno lokayātrārthaṁ tapyante paramaṁ tapaḥ | te ḍapatrapanti tādṛgbhyas tathāvṛttā bhavanti ca ||
ਹੁਮਤਸੇਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਲੋਕ-ਯਾਤਰਾ ਠੀਕ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲੇ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰਾਜੇ ਪਰਮ ਤਪੱਸਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੋਰ ਤੇ ਡਾਕੂ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਲੱਜਾ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ; ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ, ਸਦਾਚਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਐਸੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਿਤ ਉੱਦਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ।
