नानुरुद्धये निरुध्ये वा न द्वेष्मि न च कामये । समोऊ हं सर्वभूतेषु पश्य मे जाजले व्रतम् । तुला मे सर्वभूतेषु समा तिष्तति जाजले
nānuruddhaye niruddhye vā na dveṣmi na ca kāmaye | samo ’haṁ sarvabhūteṣu paśya me jājale vratam | tulā me sarvabhūteṣu samā tiṣṭhati jājale ||
ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ; ਨਾ ਮੈਂ ਦ੍ਵੈਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਨਾ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਮਭਾਵ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਜਾਜਲਿ, ਇਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਵਰਤ ਤੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਹੈ—ਵੇਖੋ। ਹੇ ਮੁਨੀ! ਮੇਰੀ ਤਰਾਜੂ ਸਭ ਲਈ ਸਮ ਹੈ; ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕੋ ਮਾਪਦੰਡ ਨਾਲ ਤੋਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
