लोक वृत्तान्ततत्त्वज्ञ: पूतो5हं गुरुशासनात्‌ । कृत्वा बुद्धि विमुक्तात्मा द्रक्ष्याम्पात्मानमव्ययम्‌

Transliteration

loka-vṛttānta-tattvajñaḥ pūto 'haṃ guru-śāsanāt | kṛtvā buddhiṃ vimuktātmā drakṣyāmy ātmānam avyayam ||

Translation

ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ-ਵਿਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਤੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਧਰਮਾਚਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਕਾਰਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ, ਸਥੂਲ ਦੇਹ ਦਾ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਵਿਨਾਸ਼ੀ ਆਤਮ-ਸਵਰੂਪ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
