Adhyātma-krama: Indriya–Manas–Buddhi–Ātman Hierarchy and Citta-Prasāda (आध्यात्मक्रमः)
अधर्मान्त्हिता वेदा वेदधर्मास्तथा55 श्रमा: । विक्रियन्ते स्वधर्मस्था: स्थावराणि चराणि च
adharmāntarhitā vedā vedadharmās tathāśramāḥ | vikriyante svadharmasthāḥ sthāvarāṇi carāṇi ca ||
ਵਿਆਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਜਦੋਂ ਅਧਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਬਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦ ਵੇਦ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੰਤਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ; ਵੈਦਿਕ ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਆਸ਼੍ਰਮ-ਧਰਮ ਵੀ ਓਹਲੇ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਫਿਰ ਸ੍ਵਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਥਾਵਰ ਤੇ ਜੰਗਮ ਸਭ ਜੀਵ ਵੀ ਧਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਕਾਰਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ; ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਵਿਗਾੜ ਫੈਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
