एते चान्ये च बहवो दानेन तपसैव च । महात्मानो गता: स्वर्ग शिष्टात्मानो जितेन्द्रिया:,ये तथा और भी बहुत-से शिष्ट स्वभाववाले जितेन्द्रिय महात्मा दान और तपस्यासे स्वर्गलोकमें चले गये
ete cānye ca bahavo dānena tapasāiva ca | mahātmāno gatāḥ svargaṁ śiṣṭātmāno jitendriyāḥ ||
ਇਹ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤੇ—ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਾਲੇ, ਇੰਦ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ—ਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਪੱਸਿਆ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਵਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
