आत्मदर्शन-उपदेशः (Ātma-darśana Upadeśa) — Mind, Senses, and the All-pervading Self
पृथक् संवत्सराग्राणि प्रवक्ष्याम्यनुपूर्वश: । कृते त्रेतायुगे चैव द्वापरे च कलौ तथा
pṛthak saṃvatsarāgrāṇi pravakṣyāmy anupūrvaśaḥ | kṛte tretāyuge caiva dvāpare ca kalau tathā ||
ਵਿਆਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਮੈਂ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮਾਪ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ; ਕ੍ਰਿਤ (ਸਤਯ), ਤ੍ਰੇਤਾ, ਦ੍ਵਾਪਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਲੀ—ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯੁਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ-ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵੀ ਅਲੱਗ ਅਲੱਗ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
