विरूप उवाच शृणुष्वावहितो राजन् यथैतद् धारयाम्यहम् | विकृतस्यास्य राजर्षे नेखिलेन नराधिप
virūpa uvāca śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājan yathaitad dhārayāmy aham | vikṛtasyāsya rājarṣe nekhilena narādhipa ||
ਵਿਰੂਪ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ, ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੋ; ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਸਮਝਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਹੇ ਰਾਜਰਿਸ਼ੀ, ਹੇ ਨਰਾਧਿਪ, ਇਸ ‘ਵਿਕ੍ਰਿਤ’ ਦੀ ਬਾਧਤਾ ਮੈਂ ਅਧੂਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ; ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੁਕਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
