Adhyāya 180: Jīva, Śarīra, and the Fire Analogy (भृगु–भरद्वाज संवादः)
भीष्म उवाच अनुयुक्त: स मेधावी लोकधर्मविधानवित् । उवाच श्लक्ष्णया वाचा प्रह्मादमनपार्थया
bhīṣma uvāca | anuyuktaḥ sa medhāvī lokadharmavidhānavit | uvāca ślakṣṇayā vācā prahrādam anapārthayā ||
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ-ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਵਿਧਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਸ ਮੇਧਾਵੀ ਮੁਨੀ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਠੀ, ਅਰਥਪੂਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
