अत्-#-#कञ एकोनपज्चाशर्दाधिकशततमो< ध्याय: बहेलियेको स्वर्गलोककी प्राप्ति भीष्म उवाच विमानस्थौ तु तौ राजन् लुब्धक: खे ददर्श ह । दृष्टवा तौ दम्पती राजन् व्यचिन्तयत तां गतिम्
bhīṣma uvāca | vimānasthau tu tau rājan lubdhakaḥ khe dadarśa ha | dṛṣṭvā tau dampatī rājan vyacintayata tāṃ gatiṃ |
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਵਿਮਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼-ਮਾਰਗ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਉਸ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਦੰਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਸਦਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਭੇਦ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ।
