राजा शत्रुंजयो नाम सौवीरेषु महारथ: । भारद्वाजमुपागम्य पप्रच्छार्थविनिश्चवयम्‌

Transliteration

rājā śatruñjayo nāma sauvīreṣu mahārathaḥ | bhāradvājam upāgamya papracchārtha-viniścayam ||

Translation

ਸੌਵੀਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁੰਜਯ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਰਥੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਤੱਬ ਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਜਾਣਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।
