आपद्धर्मनिर्णयः — विश्वामित्र-श्वपचसंवादः
Apaddharma Determination: Dialogue of Viśvāmitra and the Śvapaca
संस्तवैर्वा धनौधैर्वा नाहं शक््य: पुनस्त्वया । नह्ामित्रे वशं यान्ति प्राज्ञा निष्कारणं सखे
saṁstavair vā dhanaughair vā nāhaṁ śakyaḥ punas tvayā | nāham mitre vaśaṁ yānti prājñā niṣkāraṇaṁ sakhe ||
ਲੋਮਸ਼ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— “ਨਾ ਚਾਟੁਕਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ, ਨਾ ਧਨ ਦੇ ਢੇਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਮਿੱਤਰ, ਮੈਂ ਫਿਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸਕਦਾ। ਬੁੱਧੀਮਾਨ ਲੋਕ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ।”
