अद्रोह: सर्वभूतेषु कर्मणा मनसा गिरा । अनुग्रहश्च दानं च शीलमेतत् प्रशस्यते
adrohaḥ sarvabhūteṣu karmaṇā manasā girā | anugrahaś ca dānaṃ ca śīlam etat praśasyate ||
ਕਰਮ ਨਾਲ, ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਜੀਵ ਨਾਲ ਦ੍ਰੋਹ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ; ਸਭ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਇਆ/ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹ ਰੱਖਣਾ; ਅਤੇ ਯਥਾਸਮਰੱਥ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ—ਇਹੀ ਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
