त्रिवर्गमूलनिश्चयः — Determining the Roots of Dharma, Artha, and Kāma

पितामहान्महादेवो जागर्ति भगवान् शिव: । विश्वेदेवा: शिवाच्चापि विश्वेभ्यश्व॒ तथर्षय:
pitāmahān mahādevo jāgarti bhagavān śivaḥ | viśvedevāḥ śivāc cāpi viśvebhyaś ca tatharṣayaḥ |
ਪਿਤਾਮਹ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਾਦੇਵ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਜਾਗਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਿਵ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵੇਦੇਵ, ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵੇਦੇਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ—ਇਹੀ ਦੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ-ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ-ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਵਹੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
