पपात चोल्का महती पतिते पृथिवीपतौ । पृथ्वीपति दुर्योधनके गिर जानेपर आकाशसे पुनः महान् शब्द और बिजलीकी कड़कके साथ प्रज्वलित, भयंकर एवं विशाल उल्का भूमिपर गिरी || ५० $ ।।

ਜਦੋਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਕੜਕ ਨਾਲ ਇਕ ਜਵਲੰਤ, ਭਿਆਨਕ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਉਲਕਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆ ਡਿੱਗੀ—ਇਹ ਅਸ਼ੁਭ ਦੈਵੀ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਬਲ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਾਜਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਦੇ ਢਹਿ ਜਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਅਧਰਮ-ਚਲਿਤ ਸੱਤਾ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਵੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਅਨਿਆਈ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।
