Saptasārasvata-tīrtha-prasaṅgaḥ | The Saptasārasvata Pilgrimage Account and the Maṅkaṇaka Narrative
प्रययौ सहितो विप्रैः स्तूयमानश्च॒ माधव: । हलधरने वहाँ भी ब्राह्मणोंको भेड़
vaiśampāyana uvāca | prayayau sahito vipraiḥ stūyamānaś ca mādhavaḥ |
ਹਲਧਰ ਮਾਧਵ (ਬਲਰਾਮ) ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ, ਉੱਥੋਂ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ, ਬੱਕਰੀਆਂ, ਗਾਂਵਾਂ, ਗਧਿਆਂ, ਊਠਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨਾ-ਚਾਂਦੀ ਆਦਿ ਨਾਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ, ਇੱਛਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ; ਫਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਚਲ ਪਿਆ।
