Aśvatthāmā’s Stuti of Rudra and Śiva’s Empowerment (सौप्तिकपर्व, अध्याय ७)
येषां विस्मयते नित्यं भगवान् कर्मभिह्र: । मनोवाक्कर्मभिय॑क्तिनित्यमाराधितश्न यै:
sañjaya uvāca | yeṣāṃ vismayate nityaṃ bhagavān karmabhiḥ | manovākkarmabhir yukti-nityam ārādhitaś ca yaiḥ | sākṣād bhagavān śaṅkaraḥ ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਮ ਐਸੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਨਿੱਤ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਅਚੰਭਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ। ਮਨ, ਬਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਯਮ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਸਾਵਧਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਅਟੁੱਟ ਆਰਾਧਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ; ਦਿਨੋ-ਦਿਨ ਉਹ ਸਾਕਸ਼ਾਤ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
