Aśvatthāmā’s Buddhi-Doctrine and Nocturnal Incursion Resolve (अश्वत्थाम्नः बुद्धिविचारः सौप्तिकसंकल्पश्च)
अद्याहं सर्वपञ्चालान् निहत्य च निकृत्य च । अर्दयिष्यामि संदहृष्टो रणे पाण्डुसुतांस्तथा
sañjaya uvāca | adyāhaṁ sarvapañcālān nihatyā ca nikṛtya ca | ardayiṣyāmi saṁdahṛṣṭo raṇe pāṇḍusutāṁs tathā ||
ਅੱਜ ਮੈਂ ਰਣਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਂਚਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਪ੍ਰਤਿਅੰਗ ਛਿੰਨ-ਭਿੰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਹर्ष ਨਾਲ ਉੱਤੇਜਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪਾਂਡੂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕੁਚਲ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
