दुर्योधनस्य बलिवर्णनम् — Duryodhana’s Description of Tribute at the Rājasūya
अप्रह्ृष्टेन मनसा राजसूये महाक्रतौ । प्रेक्ष्य तामद्भुतामृद्धि जगाम गजसाह्दयम्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: aprahṛṣṭena manasā rājasūye mahākratau | prekṣya tām adbhutām ṛddhiṁ jagāma gajasāhṛdayam, rājan |
ਰਾਜਸੂਯ ਮਹਾਕ੍ਰਤੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧੀ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ; ਈਰਖਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰੀ ਦਿਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਗਜਸਾਹ੍ਵਯ—ਹਸਤਿਨਾਪੁਰ—ਵੱਲ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ।
