एवं प्रलम्भान्‌ विविधानू प्राप्य तत्र विशाम्पते । पाण्डवेयाभ्यनुज्ञातस्ततो दुर्योधनो नृप:,राजन! इस प्रकार बार-बार धोखा खाकर राजा दुर्योधन राजसूय महायज्ञमें पाण्डवोंके पास आयी हुई अद्भुत समृद्धिपर दृष्टि डालकर पाण्डुनन्दन युधिष्ठिर-की आज्ञा ले अप्रसन्न मनसे हस्तिनापुरको चला गया

evaṁ pralambhān vividhān prāpya tatra viśāṁpate | pāṇḍaveyābhyanujñātas tato duryodhano nṛpaḥ ||

ਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਥ! ਉੱਥੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਈ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਤੇ ਭੁਲੇਖੇ ਸਹਿ ਕੇ, ਪਾਂਡਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਹ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧੀ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ, ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਨੇ ਪਾਂਡੁਨੰਦਨ ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਆਗਿਆ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਾਸ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
