बद्चन्नाच्छादनैर्युक्तानू सगणानां पृथक्‌ पृथक्‌ सर्वर्तुगुणसम्पन्नान्‌ शिल्पिनो5थ सहस्रशः

Transliteration

baddhān ācchādanairyuktān sa-gaṇānāṁ pṛthak pṛthak sarvartuguṇa-sampannān śilpino ’tha sahasraśaḥ

Translation

ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਤਦ ਧਰਮਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਾਲ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਕਾਰੀਗਰਾਂ ਨੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਸੱਜਣਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਆਏ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਬਣਾਏ। ਉਹ ਘਰ ਅੰਨ ਤੇ ਵਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਰੁੱਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਆਰਾਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਸੁਖ ਨਾਲ ਤੇ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਣ।
