Vaiśravaṇa-sabhā-varṇanam
Description of Kubera’s Assembly Hall
सदा हि देवदेवेशं शिवं त्रैलोक्यभावनम् । प्रणम्य मूर्थ्ना पौलस्त्यो बहुरूपमुमापतिम्
sadā hi devadeveśaṃ śivaṃ trailokyabhāvanam | praṇamya mūrdhnā paulastyo bahurūpam umāpatim ||
ਨਾਰਦ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਪੌਲਸਤ੍ਯ ਕੁਬੇਰ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਦੇਵਦੇਵੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਨੂੰ—ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਕ-ਭਾਵਨ, ਬਹੁ-ਰੂਪਧਾਰੀ, ਉਮਾ-ਪਤੀ—ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਿੱਤ ਨਿਯਮ ਹੈ: ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਮਹੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਉਸ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕੁਬੇਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਣਿਪਾਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਗਿਆ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਬੈਠ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
