तेषामापततां तत्र शरवर्षाणि मुज्चताम् । अर्जुनो व्यधमत् सैन्यं महावातो घनानिव
teṣām āpatatāṃ tatra śaravarṣāṇi muñcatām | arjuno vyadhamat sainyaṃ mahāvāto ghanān iva ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਧਾਵਾ ਬੋਲ ਕੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ, ਤਦ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਉਂ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਹਵਾ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਢੇਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੀਰ ਕੇ ਖੇਰ-ਖੇਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
