ततस्तौ रभसोौ युद्धे भ्रातरौ भ्रातरं युधि । शरैर्ववृषतुर्घोरैर्महामेघौ यथाचलम्
tatas tau rabhasau yuddhe bhrātarau bhrātaraṃ yudhi | śarair vavṛṣatur ghorair mahāmeghau yathācalam ||
ਤਦ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਉਤਾਵਲੇ ਭਰਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਭਰਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦੋ ਮਹਾਂਮੇਘ ਕਿਸੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੂਸਲਾਧਾਰ ਮੀਂਹ ਵਰ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
संजय उवाच
