Śalya’s Objection to Sārathya and Duryodhana’s Conciliation (शल्यमन्यु-प्रशमनम् / Sārathyāṅgīkāra)
तमुद्यतं महाघोरं परिघं तस्य सूतज:
tam udyataṁ mahāghoraṁ parighaṁ tasya sūtajaḥ
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਉਸ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਲੋਹੇ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਘ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ, ਸੂਤਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਰਣ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਡਟ ਗਿਆ; ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਰਮ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉੱਥੇ ਜਨਮ ਤੇ ਕੁਲ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
