Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 94: Sātyaki–Sudarśana Yuddha (सात्यकि–सुदर्शन युद्ध)
स पार्थ त्रिभिरानर्छत् सप्तत्या च जनार्दनम्
sa pārtha tribhir ānarcat saptatyā ca janārdanam
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੰਨ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਾਰਦਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਤਰ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹੀ ਨਿਰਦਈ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਚਲਦਾ ਹੈ—ਧਰਮ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਤੋਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਜੰਗ ਦੇ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਾਂਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
