Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 94: Sātyaki–Sudarśana Yuddha (सात्यकि–सुदर्शन युद्ध)
त॑ दृष्टवा तु तथा यान्तं शूरो राजा श्रुतायुध:
taṁ dṛṣṭvā tu tathā yāntaṁ śūro rājā śrutāyudhaḥ
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦਾ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸ਼ੂਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤਾਯੁਧ ਨੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ; ਜੰਗ ਦੀ ਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਬਾਅ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਇਰਾਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਕਠੋਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਦੀ ਚਾਲ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਮਨਸੂਬਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਤੇ ਬਦਲਾ ਸੰਯਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਵੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
