निरस्तजिद्दानयनान्‌ निष्कीर्णान्त्रयकृद्घनान्‌ । हतारोहांश्छिन्नघण्टान्‌ क्रव्यादगणमोदकान्‌

Transliteration

nirastajiddānayanān niṣkīrṇāntrayakṛdghanān | hatārohāṁś chinnaghaṇṭān kravyādaganmodakān ||

Translation

ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਉੱਥੇ ਅਜੇਹੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਪਏ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਾ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਢਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ; ਅੱਖਾਂ ਅਡੋਲ ਤੇ ਬੇਜਾਨ; ਆੰਤਾਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲ ਆਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਹ ਲਹੂ ਦੇ ਭਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਸਵਾਰ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ; ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਘੰਟੀਆਂ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਚੁੱਪ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ; ਅਤੇ ਮਾਸਖੋਰ ਜੀਵ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਟੋਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
