स तेनाकर्णमुक्तेन विद्धो बाणेन कौरव:
Transliteration
sa tenākarṇamuktena viddho bāṇena kauravaḥ
Translation
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਕੰਨ ਤੱਕ ਖਿੱਚ ਕੇ ਛੱਡੇ ਗਏ ਉਸ ਤੀਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਿੱਧ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਕੌਰਵ ਯੋਧਾ ਛਿਦ ਗਿਆ; ਰਣ-ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਨਰ ਤੇ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਾ ਪਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਘਾਤਕ ਘਾਵ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
