कुलीनार्यजनोपेतं तुष्टपुष्टमनुद्धतम् । कृतमानोपचारं च यशस्वि च मनस्वि च
kulīnāryajanopetaṁ tuṣṭapuṣṭam anuddhatam | kṛtamānopacāraṁ ca yaśasvi ca manasvi ca
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਉਹ ਕੁਲੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਯ ਜਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ; ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਟ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਰਹਿਤ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਥੋਚਿਤ ਮਾਨ-ਸਨਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟ ਉਪਚਾਰ ਮਿਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ; ਉਹ ਯਸ਼ਸਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚ ਮਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ।
