भीमसेनं तथा दृष्टवा धर्मराजपुरोगमा: । विसृजन्त: शरान् राजन् कृतवर्माणमार्दयन्,राजन! भीमसेनको वैसी अवस्थामें देखकर धर्मराज आदि महारथियोंने बाणोंकी वर्षा करके कृतवर्माको बड़ी पीड़ा दी
bhīmasenaṃ tathā dṛṣṭvā dharmarāja-purogamāḥ | visṛjantaḥ śarān rājan kṛtavarmāṇam ārdayan ||
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ, ਭੀਮਸੇਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਧਰਮਰਾਜ (ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ) ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਮਹਾਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਤਵਰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਘੋਰ ਪੀੜਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
