सुहृदां हितकामानां वाक््यं यो न शूणोति ह । स महद् व्यसन प्राप्प शोचते वै यथा भवान्,जो हितैषी सुहृदोंकी बात नहीं सुनता है, वह भारी संकटमें पड़कर आपके ही समान शोक करता है
suhṛdāṁ hitakāmānāṁ vākyaṁ yo na śṛṇoti ha | sa mahad vyasanaṁ prāpya śocati vai yathā bhavān ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲੇ—ਜੋ ਭਲਾ ਚਾਹੁਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੁਹਿਰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦਾ, ਉਹ ਵੱਡੀ ਵਿਪਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੋਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
