यथा स्कन्दस्य राजेन्द्र मयूरेण विराजता । राजेन्द्र! जैसे स्वामी स्कन्दका रथ सुन्दर मयूर-चिह्लसे शोभित होता है, उसी प्रकार महामना वृषसेनका रथ उस मयूरचिह्लसे शोभा पा रहा था

Transliteration

yathā skandasya rājendra mayūreṇa virājatā |

Translation

ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਹੇ ਰਾਜੇਂਦ੍ਰ! ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਸਕੰਦ ਦਾ ਰਥ ਮੋਰ-ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਨਾਲ ਸਜ ਕੇ ਚਮਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਓਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਹਾਮਨਾ ਵ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਸੇਨ ਦਾ ਰਥ ਵੀ ਉਸੇ ਮੋਰ-ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੋਭਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਦਿੱਪਦਾ ਸੀ।
