Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s appraisal of Vāsudeva’s deeds
सुकुमारो युवा शूरो दर्शनीयश्व पाण्डव: । मेधावी निपुणो धीमान् युधि सत्यपराक्रम:
sukumāro yuvā śūro darśanīyaś ca pāṇḍavaḥ | medhāvī nipuṇo dhīmān yudhi satyaparākramaḥ ||
ਸੁਕੋਮਲ ਦੇਹ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੂਰਵੀਰ, ਦਰਸ਼ਨੀਯ, ਮেধਾਵੀ, ਯੁੱਧ-ਨਿਪੁਣ, ਧੀਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਾਂਡੁਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਕੁਲ ਜਦੋਂ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚੀ ਗਰਜ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੀੜਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਦ੍ਰੋਣਾਚਾਰਯ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਇਆ, ਤਦ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਵੀਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਸੀ?
