प्रभो! धर्मकी स्थापना, दैत्योंके वध और जगतकी रक्षाके लिये हमारी प्रार्थना अवश्य स्वीकार कीजिये ।।

Transliteration

prabho! dharmakī sthāpanā, daityānāṁ vadhaḥ ca jagataḥ rakṣāyai asmākaṁ prārthanāṁ avaśyaṁ svīkuru || yat tat paramakaṁ guhyaṁ tvatprasādād idaṁ vibho | vāsudeva tad etat te mayodgītaṁ yathātatham ||

Translation

ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਬੋਲੇ— ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ, ਦੈਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਧ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਸਾਡੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰੋ। ਹੇ ਵਿਭੋ, ਹੇ ਵਾਸੁਦੇਵ! ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਉਹ ਪਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮ-ਗੁਹ੍ਯ ਤੱਤ ਇੱਥੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦਾ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
