सफल: सूत चाद्येह यो5हं पश्यामि सोदरान् | 'सूत! मेरे मनमें बहुत वर्षोसे जिसका चिन्तन हो रहा था, वह मनोरथरूपी वृक्ष आज सफल होना चाहता है; क्योंकि इस समय यहाँ मैं दुर्योधनके भाइयोंको एकत्र देख रहा हूँ

saphalaḥ sūta cādyeha yo 'haṃ paśyāmi sodarān |
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਹੇ ਸੂਤ! ਅੱਜ ਮੇਰੀ ਚਿਰਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਵੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
