अर्धचन्द्रेण व्यूहेन व्यूहं तमतिदारुणम् । दक्षिणं शुड्रमास्थाय भीमसेनो व्यरोचत
sañjaya uvāca | ardhacandreṇa vyūhena vyūhaṃ tam atidāruṇam | dakṣiṇaṃ śṛṅgam āsthāya bhīmaseno vyarocata ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਉਸ ਅਤਿ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਵਿਊਹ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਰਧਚੰਦਰਾਕਾਰ ਵਿਊਹ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਸਿੰਗ—ਸੱਜੇ ਪੱਖ—ਤੇ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਭੀਮਸੇਨ ਚਮਕ ਉਠਿਆ।
