ततः पुनरमेयात्मा भारद्वाज: प्रतापवान् | शरै: प्रच्छादयामास धृष्टद्युम्नममर्षणम्,तदनन्तर अमेय आत्मबलसे सम्पन्न प्रतापी द्रोणाचार्यने पुनः अमर्षशील धृष्टद्युम्नको अपने बाणोंसे ढक दिया
tataḥ punar ameyātmā bhāradvājaḥ pratāpavān | śaraiḥ pracchādayāmāsa dhṛṣṭadyumnam amarṣaṇam ||
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਫਿਰ ਅਪਾਰ ਆਤਮਬਲ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪੀ ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ-ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦ੍ਰੋਣ ਨੇ ਅਡੋਲ ਧ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਦ੍ਯੁਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
