Bhīṣma-nipāta-saṃvāda — Sañjaya’s Report of Bhīṣma’s Fall (भीष्मनिपातसंवादः)
पार्श्व॑तः के भ्यरक्षन्त गच्छन्तो दुर्गमां गतिम् समूहे के परान् वीरानू् प्रत्ययुध्यन्त संजय
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | pārśvataḥ ke hy arakṣanta gacchanto durgamāṃ gatim | samūhe ke parān vīrān pratyayudhyanta saṃjaya ||
ਧ੍ਰਿਤਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਬੋਲੇ— ਸੰਜਯ, ਉਸ ਦੁਸ਼ਕਰ ਯੁੱਧ-ਮਾਰਗ ਉੱਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ? ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸੈਨਿਕ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗੇ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੂ-ਵੀਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ-ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਡਟ ਕੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ?
