सा पार्थिवशताकीर्णा समितिर्भीष्मशोभिता । शुशुभे भारती दीप्ता दिवीवादित्यमण्डलम्‌

Transliteration

sā pārthivaśatākīrṇā samitir bhīṣmaśobhitā | śuśubhe bhāratī dīptā divīvādityamaṇḍalam ||

Translation

ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਦੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੋਭਿਤ ਉਹ ਰਣ-ਸਭਾ, ਭਾਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਿਪਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਚਮਕ ਉਠੀ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਦਾਨ-ਏ-ਜੰਗ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸੂਰਜ-ਮੰਡਲ ਹੀ ਦਹਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
