अन्वासन्त दुराधर्ष देवव्रतमरिंदमम् । अन्योन्यं प्रीतिमन्तस्ते यथापूर्व यथावय:
sañjaya uvāca |
anvāsanta durādharṣa devavratam ariṃdamam | anyonyaṃ prītimantas te yathāpūrvaṃ yathāvayaḥ ||
ਤਦ ਉਹ ਦੁਸ਼ਵਾਰ-ਹਮਲਾ ਯੋਧੇ—ਕੁਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਂਡਵ—ਯੁੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਹਟ ਕੇ, ਕਵਚ ਉਤਾਰ ਕੇ, ਹਥਿਆਰ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ, ਵੈਰੀ-ਦਮਨ ਦੇਵਵ੍ਰਤ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਬੈਠੇ। ਉਹ ਪਰਸਪਰ ਸਨੇਹ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਉਮਰ ਅਤੇ ਜ੍ਯੇਸ਼ਠਤਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਯੋਗ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਸਨ ਗ੍ਰਹਣ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ।
