Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha
सदार: ससुतश्रैव सस्नुषश्न दिवं गत: । धर्मके ऐसा कहनेपर वे उज्छवृत्तिवाले ब्राह्मण देवता अपनी पत्नी, पुत्र और पुत्रवधूके साथ विमानपर आरूढ़ हो स्वर्गलोकको चले गये
sadāraḥ sasutaś caiva sasnuṣaś ca divaṁ gataḥ | dharmake etadā kathanepara ve ujjhavṛttivāle brāhmaṇa-devatā ātmanaḥ patnyā putreṇa ca putravadhu-sahitā vimānam ārūḍhāḥ svargalokaṁ jagmuḥ ||
ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਕਹਿਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਉਹ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ-ਦੇਵਤਾ ਪਤਨੀ, ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਨੂੰਹ ਸਮੇਤ ਵਿਮਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਸੁਰਗਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਤਿਤ ਮੰਨੀ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਧਰਮ-ਵਚਨ ਦੀ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਵਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਏ।
