Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
वजन गृहीत्वा च पुरन्दर त्वं सम्प्राहार्षीक्ष्यवनस्यातिघोरम् । स ते विप्र: सह वज्ेण बाहु- मपागृह्नात् तपसा जातमन्यु:
vajraṁ gṛhītvā ca purandara tvaṁ samprahārṣī kṣyavanasya atighoram | sa te vipraḥ saha vajreṇa bāhum apāgṛhṇāt tapasā jātamanyuḥ purandara |
ਹੇ ਪੁਰੰਦਰ! ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਤੂੰ ਅਤਿ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਵਜ੍ਰ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਮਹਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਚ੍ਯਵਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਹੀ ਲੱਗਾ ਸੀ; ਪਰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਉਸ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਪੋਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਵਜ੍ਰ ਸਮੇਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਕੜ ਲਿਆ।
